Never Did Nothing Wrong No Thanks to Meta
my name is johnathan james i'm from the caribbean island saint lucia. on september 13th 2021 my instagram account was disabled by mistake i never did nothing wrong for violating community guidelines or terms of use cause they think that the app unfollowers for instagram which i used thinking as a spam which leaves me hurted and unjusted. i filed an appeal and i send a photo of myself holding the white paper with my name, the code and my username to identify me as the owner of my instagram account to be reinstated many times cause it didn't work that i didn't do it properly to make it as a jpeg file. then in 2022 i did the same thing four times to so they didn't responded for my account to be reinstated so i just give up and it's over, i tried so hard for my life to get my instagram account back and it's not fair. meta has no right to disabled people's facebook accounts and instagram accounts for something they didn't do that's hurting their happiness, meta should take accountable and responsible for their actions they did... THIS HAS TO STOP
I’m so sorry to hear all of this! Same thing has happened to me on Facebook. On Monday April 13th without warning or cause Meta disabled my FB account. I have had my FB account for almost 20 years. I also have my FB business account M&M finds and designs. I am a 64 year old grandma on SS. I supplement my income with Market Place. On Monday the 13th around 4pm my phone received a message as I was renewing old listing on marketplace. The message said my FB account was disabled and that I would no longer be able to access my accounts. It said that I had done something against the rules or had infringed on something none of it made any sense. It directed me to an appeal page that also made no sense. It never said what it was that I supposedly had done. I have only posted a few post of late. I posted about my family Easter on April 5th. My birthday on April 6th. A car show on Saturday the 11th, a farmer’s market on Sunday the 12th. None of those post had anything in them that went against your rules. I don’t know what the heck is going on. But, I do know that Mark Zuckerberg is filthy rich from all of us using it. It seems like in this day and age of technology with all the money at his disposal that he would have a better system than the one in use. I looked on the internet and there are many more like me who have lost use of a valuable tool to help our life, all because Mark Zuckerberg is taking the easy way out to let AI run his business. I feel sure this AI is responsible for what has happened to me and many others. I would appreciate my account being restored to me. I really really would appreciate if I could deal with a real human being that has common sense and not AI and algorithms. I have sent many appeals and many emails! I even paid for a subscription to Meta verified! The agent that I contacted on Meta verified was no help and now when I go to get help on meta verified I get a message that’s says I have reached my support chat limit! One chat that the agent closed before I was through and they don’t respond and let me know what steps I need to take to have my Facebook restored
