My account, Starseed_Journey, was wrongly disabled for false allegations of child exploitation and child nudity. I appealed Instagram (Meta), and after 180 days passed, my account says everything will be permanently deleted. This was completely false allegations on my account resulting in deletion of a major project in my life, without being to speak to a human in the appeals process. Instagram kept kicking me out everything I tried to sign in and see what was going on, and kept saying my password was incorrect in future log in attempts. However, after 180 day appeal process had passed, my saved password magically worked again and signed into my Instagram account, where it gave me the notification that my appeal was denied and everything will be deleted. This is completely unfair and many peoples’ accounts have wrongly been flagged, disabled, and permanently deactivated. This is not fair and an extension of our rights as American Citizens especially. We demand justice to our digital footprint and data we spent our precious time on. We must hold Meta and Instagram and the new AI technologies they are using to conduct account suspensions and deletions without further human review before a final decision is made. Please join us in this battle!

My Instagram account, @graspfate0411, was disabled on August 30, 2026, and I was later informed that it had been permanently disabled. I believe this decision was made in error. Despite my attempts to appeal and contact support, I have not received a clear, specific explanation of the alleged violation or a meaningful opportunity to resolve the issue.
This account is important to my work and communication with clients. Losing access has disrupted my business and my ability to stay in touch with them.
I support this petition because users deserve transparent explanations, accessible appeal procedures, and meaningful human review. When an account is disabled in error, there should be an effective way to correct the decision and restore access.

I found a reel on Facebook whilst scrolling showing an underage child in nude masturbating whilst playing video games, in the comments people found it funny and even shared screenshots. Horrified, I Reported the reel and received Feedback from Facebook saying that the "content doesn't violate Community Standards" I was upset and contacted Support with an explanation and a link to the URL so the video could be removed. The next day my account was Suspended for Child Sexual Exploitation when I was the one trying to stop a child being exploited. This is disturbing. This is also not the first time I've reported nudity or sexual acts on Facebook that was not removed, however this time was different. It involved a child.

I have an instagram account where I get all my clients from.
In the days leading up to this, my account was suspended twice. I appealed both times once a couple weeks ago and once a few days ago and both times Instagram gave my account back.
This time, I had 5+ clients waiting for me that exact day through Instagram, so I needed to get my account back ASAP. I tried logging in on my phone, laptop, incognito, just to show an empty waiting screen. So my only option was to spend $20 on a Meta subscription specifically to get customer support. I waited at least an hour just to speak to someone, only for them to tell me they would look into it. There was no explanation, no actual reason for the suspension, and it was suspended. On top of this, when I try to download my information of my suspended account, the password would not work, when it could work logging in, to see suspension message.
I lost 5–10+ potential/current customers during this, including people who were supposed to contact me the following day.
Then I waited another day, opened Instagram, and found out my account was just disabled.
I've spent nearly 2 years building my reach, finding clients, posting my work, maintaining my connections, and building a business around it. Now all of that is basically inaccessible because Instagram keeps suspending me without telling me why and now I’ve wasted money on Meta's subscription, without even being given a clear reason.
And honestly, I am NOT doing okay over this. I had a bigger business account taken away from me when I was younger, and that experience seriously affected me. Having restarting years of work suddenly disappear again is brings worse feelings back

Facebook permanently deleted my account (and my instagram account) on August 30th with no option to speak to an actual representative to dispute the CSE claims they have made against the account.
There is no further way to dispute this, and talking to their Meta AI chatbot is also fruitless.

Meta wrongfully banned my Instagram and Facebook accounts, and with them, I lost years of memories, photographs of my departed mother, and the clients and livelihood I depended on. What may have seemed like a simple account restriction had devastating consequences for my life.
The financial and emotional stress pushed me to overwork myself just to survive. Eventually, I suffered severe seizures that resulted in oxygen deprivation and subsequent brain and nerve damage. I am now left dealing with the consequences every day, including the enormous cost of the medications and treatment I need for my brain and neurological condition.
I am barely scraping by, trying to rebuild a life and livelihood that were taken from me. I only wish Meta would understand that behind every account is a real person, with real memories, responsibilities, and a life that can be profoundly affected by a decision made with the click of a button.
If you want, I can also make it more forceful and legally worded, while keeping it credible and factual.

My Instagram account, which I had maintained since 2013, was permanently disabled without being provided with the specific content, interaction, or activity that caused the enforcement action. My linked Facebook account was also disabled as a consequence.
What concerns me most is the lack of transparency and meaningful due process. Instagram explicitly informed me that its technology detected activity that allegedly violated its rules and took action against my account. I used the review option that was provided, but the decision was upheld and I was then informed that I could not request another review.
I subsequently contacted Meta's support system seeking clarification and a human review. I explained that I was not experiencing a login problem, security lock, or hacked account. I specifically requested an alternative escalation procedure because both affected accounts had been disabled and the normal appeal process had already been exhausted.
Meta's support system informed me that there were no further internal escalation paths or manual review options available through the standard support channels. It also stated that Meta could not disclose the specific content, interactions, or account activity that formed the basis of the enforcement decision. It could not tell me whether the final decision had been made solely by automated technology or had involved human review.
This leaves me in an impossible position: a technology system can make or initiate a decision that permanently removes a digital identity I maintained for more than thirteen years, while I am not allowed to know specifically what triggered that decision, meaningfully challenge the evidence behind it, or obtain another human review.
I understand and support the need for platforms to enforce their safety rules. However, automated enforcement at this scale must also include safeguards for mistakes and false positives. People should not lose years of contacts, memories, conversations and access to linked services without a transparent explanation and an effective way to challenge potentially incorrect decisions.
I am not asking platforms to weaken their safety standards. I am asking for accountability: clear explanations for serious enforcement decisions, meaningful human review, accessible support, fair appeals, and effective mechanisms to correct automated errors.
A digital identity built over many years should not be permanently erased by an opaque process with no meaningful path to challenge a possible mistake.

Three of my Facebook accounts were disabled. They Instagram and Threads accounts were also suspended due to an AI error. I appealed, but the AI refused any explanation and upheld it's decision. Now I've lost one 20 years of pictures, friends and needed information. When I attempt to download the account remains the AI says I have the wrong password. Someone hacked my account. I never posted anything violating community standards.

Facebook had deleted my multiple accounts for violating their "community guidelines" years back, especially my 6 year account which gave me inconvenience on my communication for school and family. And currently since ive made an another account, it was suspended again despite i limit friends and limit posting. They should not have ai moderation or better yet since Meta is a big company, should use their money to improve their moderation systems.
