My account was hacked and i have proofs, screenshots, my account have 14yrs and my appeal was denied in less than a minute, I have never violated the community terms, I contacted Meta and despite the evidence, they tell me the decision is final because their AI decided it that way. I have no access to any legal channels to appeal. So many memories, conversations, photos, and so much more are gone.

I am a U.S. Army Veteran and Prior Law Enforcement Officer. I use Threads to grow my business and also Facebook. I had an Instagram account but only to be able to access Threads. I only had a few posts on there of Horses and some pictures I drew. Meta said they suspended my account due to a violation on Instagram. I don’t see how a drawing of Polar Bears or a picture of me with horses is a violation of anything. I had thousands of followers and customers for my Veteran Owned Business for the last ten years. I have lost a massive amount of cash flow and customer contacts due to Meta suspending my accounts wrongfully and without any proof beyond a reasonable doubt that any infraction occurred. When I tried to appeal the decision, they denied me in a very short time with again no reason behind their decision. I use Threads to post about my son’s tragic death and I built a web of followers who chat with me and give me comfort from around the world while I grieve and mourn his loss. Now those friends are gone. I have struggled from this situation Meta has caused emotionally and financially. Meta needs to answer for what they are doing to the Business Owners along with so many others around the world!

I am a victim of losing my social media accounts ran by meta. They have accused me of child sexual exploitation with no grounds to do so. I filed a report with my attorney General in March and have not heard back or been able to get an update on my complaint. I have lost 18 years of pictures, my business page and the ability to connect with people who I have no other way to talk to. They claim they have reported my to NCMEC which can completely ruin me. I have done nothing wrong and never would do anything like I am being accused of, with no specifics to show proof.

I have gotten suspended twice on Instagram for doing absolutely nothing wrong, or in the second case doing absolutely nothing. I could not fully appeal the first time, because I do not have a phone and it wants me to verify with a mobile number. So that is why I am signing the petition.

My email was hacked and they were able to hack my Facebook/Meta. Facebook acknowledged it was hacked via text notification. When I went to login it promoted me to change my password and verify my identity I did. To only come to a “your account is disabled with no appeal” It’s very unfortunate and sad, 2 decades of content, photos and memories just gone. This shouldn’t be ok. There needs to be accountability for these platforms to reinstate our accounts and respond to our letters. Memories and friendships of deceased that I’ll never recover and it’s heartbreaking.

I tried contacting them several emails sent EVERY day for 4 months, along with proof that I was at work whenmy account was "hacked" I even downloaded my information, and in the 'last log-in" was in a state that I do NOT live in. I tried to explain this, even senet a copy of their own long in report, and I either got no reply, or the reply stated they were short handed, and to try againat a later time. ALL fell on death ears.

my instagram account was disabled by mistake on september 13th 2021 i did nothing wrong to violate community guidelines or terms of use cause they think that app i used called unfollowers for instagram thought as a spam. i submitted the appeal many times i didn't work cause i didn't make the photo of myself holding the white paper with my name, the code and my username as a jpeg file then it tell me to request a review which i don't know. now in 2022 i submitted the appeal four times but still don't work so i decided to give up and it's over. it's been four times that my instagram account is disabled, i tried so hard to get it back and it's not fair that leaves me hurted, sad and unjusted... THAT HAS TO BE STOPPED

"My account was initially suspended, after which I promptly submitted an appeal and provided valid identification as requested. Shortly thereafter, my account was restored, and I received confirmation that it did not violate Instagram’s Community Guidelines. However, within hours of that restoration, my account was suspended again for the same alleged violation. I submitted a second appeal, again providing identification, and was then informed that my account does violate the guidelines. This directly contradicts the prior determination and indicates a clear error or inconsistency in the review process."

"As an artist who's been using Instagram many years as it's platform. It's unfathomable how many times I've been falsely suspended for just posting my art, I once lost my first account and an alternative one I had for many years one day, for similar reasons. They first accused me of "Child Exploitation Violations," promptly suspending said accounts right then and there. I tried to appeal a ton of times, even demanding what posts in particular warranted this accusation and suspension? Their response? Nothing.. After I had moved on from it, they decided out of the blue to reinstate those two accounts, after I had already accepted it's loss.. After countless appeal attempts and contact with Meta, they were completely unhelpful with their responses, showing that they don't care about my appeals whatsoever. Taking the longest time possible to fix things up.. So now some time has passed by, I set up a new account, everything went smoothly for nearly a year, until yet again, another false suspension.. But this time they gave no direct reasoning, they only claimed that I "violated their community guidelines." After speaking to a "Ai Assistant" in their website through a chat, they didn't offer much help whatsoever as well, only repeating the same nonsense they had already given me before. Not too long after my account was suspended, my old alternative account also got taken down! They're literally targeting me for no reason at all. They conveniently did this after I said some pretty vocal things about their "witch hunt" style of flagging and suspending other people's accounts to a friend of mine.. Nonetheless, I wish to sign this petition so that I and others can have a voice on Meta's poor handling of suspensions and improper suspensions and post flagging. Enough is enough, I am tired of rebuilding my name, I'm tired of Meta's incompetence."

It was a great app to share events and photos with family and friends including family overseas. I have now had two accounts on Instagram deleted and facebook account suspended randomly for breaching community standards which I have not done. I am now unable to reach out to friends, vacation pages, photos or other various items that Facebook accesses. Where is the support? "I have been running my Instagram account for over a year, investing a tremendous amount of time, effort, and passion into it. I carefully created every photo, worked on the quality and style of my content, and truly loved the process. During this time, I was able to grow my audience to over 500,000 followers, which I was incredibly proud of. However, about a week and a half ago, my account was wrongfully disabled without any clear explanation. Even more concerning, the system shows an incorrect disable date - July of last year - which does not reflect reality. I submitted an appeal, but it was reviewed automatically and ultimately resulted in the permanent disablement of my account. There is no way to reach real support - no responses, no opportunity to explain the situation, and no chance to recover access or even receive a proper explanation. This kind of treatment from Meta is unacceptable. People invest years of their lives into building their accounts, businesses, careers, and personal brands. Wrongful bans without transparency, without human review, and without any recovery options are a serious issue affecting thousands of users. I urge Meta to address this problem by implementing: • real human support • a transparent and fair appeal process • the ability to restore accounts in cases of wrongful disablement No one should lose the results of their hard work because of system errors."

"I had my instagram for 3 years everything was on there, the friends I made, the messages between me and someone who ended their life, I can’t get any of it back! "I was using instagram as always while I put my phone down for 10 minutes during class and I get this notification that my account got banned at first I thought it was one of those spam accounts or scam accounts with a new strategy but then I seen it was real and I got banned and now it looks like I blocked all my friends who don’t have me added on TikTok and don’t know the situation"

"I registered on Facebook in 2011. Since then, my email address has never changed. In 2017, I added a phone number, and it has also never changed. I grow flowers and have only posted photos of flowers. I had around 6,000 followers on Facebook and about 10,000 on Instagram. On the morning of April 1, 2026, I was messaging on Messenger when a notification appeared saying there was “suspicious activity in the account” and asking me to confirm that I am a real person. I agreed, and after completing a video selfie, my account was suspended. I simply could not believe what was happening; I thought it might be an April Fools’ joke. But it wasn’t. I received an email stating: “Your Facebook account has been suspended. This is because your account or activity on your account does not comply with our Community Standards regarding account integrity. If you believe your account was suspended by mistake, you have 180 days to appeal our decision. If you miss this deadline, your account will be permanently disabled.” I clicked the appeal button and the system requested my ID. I submitted it. And that was the end of my accounts. Facebook was suspended, and then my Instagram was also suspended for no reason, because they were linked through Accounts Center. There is no appeal button available anymore. It is terrifying. I sent several support requests, but received no response. Is it really possible to erase 14 years of life on social media because of AI glitches? I am confused and overwhelmed. I lost access to friends, clients, and memories. I lost 14 years of my life."

"Business Facebook and Instagram account was wrongfully deleted with no way of contacting any support. An email was received that we had 30 days to appeal the decision, didn't even explain what terms and conditions the account was violating, within two hours another email was received that the appeal was denied and the accounts were deleted but we never even submitted an appeal. The lack of correspondence and any assistance and not being able to contact a live person makes this all the more frustrating. This is causing a huge disruption in our business and affecting business revenue as well as business time and resources."
