"I have been a user of Facebook and Instagram since they were launched. I am a mom with private accounts and very few followers. Recently, I was told my account was being suspended for posting explicit content of children. I appealed both times, and both times were found to be a mistake. Then, on February 3, with no contact from Meta whatsoever, my accounts were completely disabled, and I was told I no longer had the opportunity to review. First of all, that’s a very serious accusation, and I don’t take it lightly; however, it is patently false. Additionally, Meta doesn’t provide any way for a human to review my accounts and confirm that I have been following all community standards and guidelines. I feel very upset about losing all my memories, but their move has prevented me from accessing my business pages. This is a completely unfair practice, and the fact that they don’t provide you with a human contact is unacceptable. It is called social media, ot AI media!"

"After a few months of operating w/o any issues my business page on FB was wrongfully accused of impersonation and I've yet to get it resolved despite multiple attempts with their support team to have a review conducted to reverse the decision. My page is drastically hindered in the meantime after having it exist for just as few months. Their support people have no clue what's going on and aren't given the tools or authority to make any decisions. Requests simply go into a black hole."

"My 20 year old Facebook account that I made when I was 14 years old was suddenly suspended based on an Instagram account of mine (that I hadn't used in over a year) apparently going against Community Guidelines. I sent all the appeals I could, and they then told me the Instagram account in question was deleted. However I still cannot access my Facebook account, and it tells me that I need to log in to that now-deleted Instagram account in order to appeal any further, which is literally impossible since the account has been deleted by Meta. There are photos of my late mother on there that I haven't backed up anywhere else, and I have lost a source of jobs as I have gotten many gigs through Facebook in the past. Meta NEEDS to address this, or at the very least make it possible for users to reach a human being when there are issues."

"Never had an issue with Instagram until 1/21/2026. My account suddenly got disabled permanently for CSE which I didn't do anything of the sort. No warning or anything. Didn't even specify which one of my posts was flagged. Because all my Meta accounts are linked, the ban took out all my accounts. I appealed but got declined almost instantly. I've contacted all my elected officials and my State AG. They all say the same, nothing can be done because Meta is a privately owned company."

"I have been on Instagram for over ten years, building connections and storing memories. My account was permanently disabled without clear explanation, apparently by an automated system. There was no human review, no access to support, and no way to recover my data. This process is unfair, opaque, and completely inadequate. Users deserve transparency, proper review, and a chance to defend themselves. Such arbitrary actions cause unnecessary stress and isolate people from their communities and important personal content. Meta’s current approach is unfair and fails to provide the support and accountability that users deserve."

"Hello, my name is Kyle Morgan Mitchell II and I have been trying to contact instagram support or appeals support in regards to my account Kingycm. For about a month my account has been randomly getting suspended for guideline purposes that I am not misusing nor incorrectly following. I am trying to figure out why my account is continously being suspended unnecessarily. The first time, I appealed and my account was back online within 2 or 3 days stating that instagram made a mistake and I have been following all the guidelines. The second time my account was down/offline for about 4 to 5 days but I was still able to use my Facebook account. When my instagram account was returned, instagram again stated, they were sorry and I have been following all the guidelines. This time my instagram and Facebook accounts have been down since JANUARY 11TH. The day before(JANUARY10TH), I didn't even use my account, and I awoke 4am in the morning on the 11th, to scroll and check msgs before I headed to work, and my accounts were again suspend and I had to quickly do another appeal process before I headed to work. This is very displeasing and uncomfortable, especially not having access to my Facebook account as well. I wasn't even using my account when it was suspended again, for the third time randomly and this time my accounts have been down for 27 consecutive days. It is now February 6th Friday afternoon and I am looking for this to be resolved immediately. I am also looking for a reasoning on why this random occurrence keeps happening and what is instagram doing or what do I need to do in the future to stop this from continuing to happen. I've had my account for over 15 years and this has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND ESPECIALLY NOT THIS CONSISTENT OR BACK TO BACK. I hold alot of memories and ideas on these accounts that i do not want to lose because of a system malfunction. Please resolve and help me resolve this issue as soon as possible/Immediately."

"My account has been suspended 2 times in the last 45 days and each time I got a email saying “after review” you did nothing wrong and sorry for the inconvenience. Then this week it was permanently disabled. No email just a note when I tried to log in. No way to appeal, nobody to turn to for help. All 3 times it claimed it was for child endangerment, which is crazy. I’m a mom of 4, a teacher, soccer team manager and PTO leader. I’m a mandatory reporter and am finger printed for my job. This madness needs to stop. Meta must do better and be held accountable."

"On 2/6/2026, I was accused of CSE. This is false. I am a professional in my community an like this could ruin my career. I appealed and AI denied my appeal with NO explanation. There is no one to talk to, no way to defend myself. The last thing I posted was advertisement and marketing for my private practice. And within that advertisement it just said how I support people with mental health recovery. This is not okay. I will join any class action law suits that come along."

"On December 23, 2025, my primary Instagram account (@cinemagravy, approximately 46,000 followers) was suspended. An appeal was submitted the same day, and the account was reinstated within approximately 48 hours. On January 10, 2026, the same account was suspended again under an allegation related to child exploitation. An appeal was submitted immediately. Unlike the first suspension, the account was permanently disabled. No specific content was identified as violating policy, no strike history or prior warnings were provided, and no evidence was shared. Since January 10, 2026, I have been unable to access the account despite multiple appeal submissions and escalation attempts, including outreach through my manager and Meta contacts. No appeal timeline, explanation, or resolution has been communicated as of today."

"Well, when I reported a real fake account of someone pretending to be my mom and someone pretending to be a friend who has passed away, Meta did nothing. Now you are deleting real accounts that are regularly updated. There has to be a better way. Add extra review options and real people available to help. "i deleted my old instagram account in 2023 because i was being harassed after my login was leaked online. just made a new one 2 days ago for my music, had not posted yet, liked anything, followed anyone ect. and the account was suspended for violating meta terms. reading online about solutions had only shown me how much of a problem this is between data leaks and random bans... im never coming back to instagram and i am deleting my facebook. F meta. F zuckerberg. F social media in general. face it people, its dead. only a matter of time before the same thing happens to emails and phone numbers which then locka you out of all your online accounts for school, banking, business ect. get out while you still can."

"They disabled my account in February 8, 2025. I'm a Licensed Realtor in the State of Oregon and have lost business because of not being able to connect with my community, have lost touch with friends that live on the east coast and lost all of my pictures and memories that I thought was safely stored on FaceBook. Even though I'm MetaVerified and actually spoken with a human being, they could see that my account was hacked, I even shared screenshots of the IP address that hacked my account, they just said that there was nothing they could do to restore it and I've since been banned. It's devastating for so many reasons. Something else to think about, Meta products, like Meta Glasses, are immediately inaccessible, should you lose your account. Food for thought."

"I am joining my voice with hundreds of other users who, like myself, have had their long-standing accounts deactivated due to a massive systemic error in Meta’s algorithm. My account holds 15 years of my life. More than a decade of family photos, travel memories, and connections with loved ones were erased in seconds based on a false, automated accusation of 'child exploitation.' As an adult living in Canada, with a strictly private and family-oriented profile, I state categorically: this is a False Positive. What is happening is a legal and human rights violation: Lack of Human Review: Thousands of innocent people are being judged and 'sentenced' by AI bots without any right to a real defense. Emotional Damage: Our digital memories are being confiscated arbitrarily. Baseless Accusations: The algorithm is labeling everyday users with heinous crimes due to a technical failure. I have already filed official complaints with Consumidor.gov.br in Brazil and the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in Canada. We will not accept Meta’s silence. We demand that a human analyst reviews our accounts and restores what is rightfully ours. If you are also a victim of this glitch, do not give up. File official reports and speak out. "My Instagram account was banned for violating Meta's community standards. I have had this Instagram account for over 10 years and lost access to my other Instagram accounts that are my business as well as my personal Facebook page and photography page as well as loosing access to the social group on FB that I run. There was no warning, no reason or which photo violated the rules. When I did the appeal it was automatically denied and said my account was still in violation and was permanently banned. This was on 02/10/26. After doing some research I have seen this has been happening for months and is not right. This is going to effect how I market my photography business and how a run a large social group on Facebook since loosing access to that as well."

"I was hit with this ban on Jan 29th. It is an absolutely ridiculous and disgusting accusation on Metas part for doing this to innocent people. My account was never involved in any of this. Metas customer service is useless. First off you have to pay for it to get to speak to anyone and then they just basically read from a script about it and tell you there's nothing they can do and end the conversation. They will not escalate this to an actual person. when my account was disabled I was asleep and woke up to this message on my screen. I appealed right away and it was AI denied within 30secs and no further option to appeal. My whole online presence was gone 15 years of memories etc. This is causing Mental anguish, anxiety, anger, and sadness. Meta really needs to do something about this. These false accusations for CSE are ridiculous and unfounded!"

"My Facebook was disabled on 12/11/2025 after being on Facebook for at least 15 years. My account was disabled without any warning and notification of it being shut down. When people search my name on Facebook, no results come up. I am 70 years old and depend on Facebook to notify my family and friends of my status. My husband passed away on 7/1/2024. All my pictures of him are gone that I posted. When my facebook account was shut down, the application informed me that there was no recourse and there was nothing I can do."

"Facebook suspended 2 of my accounts using AI review, with no specified reason about why they were suspended, just generic BS that my posts go against community standards, when they don't. Everything that gets me blocked or suspended was shared by others on facebook. Facebook's review process is discriminating, & biased as to who is blocked or suspended. I've been on facebook now for almost 2 decades...I have been blocked many times, & many times unfairly, & without legal recourse. I recently posted publicly-released photos from the Epstein files, which others shared on facebook, & these photos are what led to my 2 accounts being suspended. The photos themselves don't go against their community standards, because if they did, the users who originally posted the photos would've had them deleted, & would've been blocked, meaning no one else would've had access to them on facebook...an investigation would catch facebook's double-standards. To give just 1 example, the memes & photos I share on facebook are all copied from other facebook users who post them. In many cases, the same memes others share are on facebook remain posted for days, week, months, & sometimes even years, & continue to remain posted. If I share those same memes, none of which violate community standards, within minutes or hours, the memes are removed, & my account is hit with restrictions, meaning biased & selective blocking/suspensions. Their community standards & process of deciding what goes against them is flawed by AI & lack of Human interaction. Facebook needs a class-action lawsuit that properly compensates users for the emotional & psychological abuse they suffer from a company headed by a group of people, & foreign agents, with no moral or ethical standards, & it needs to be held financially liable. Suspending an account isn't just about preventing free speech, especially by foreign agents within facebook, it's about going beyond preventing you from just posting...it seeks to inflict emotional & psychological damage, by cutting off your ties to friends & family, so the penalties for facebook need to be severe & exemplary. Personally, facebook should be sued to extinction. In any lawsuit situation against facebook, an independent committee should be set up to audit & review all cases in which discrimination or bias took place when blocking or suspending users for comments or memes...I guarantee that you will find selective blocking & discrimination going on. If you included me in that committee, facebook would be in deep 💩, because I'd know what to look for. Since facebook is a publicly-traded company, meaning no longer private, & its profit model benefits from numerous American users, its community standards shouldn't be allowed to violate Americans' 1st Amendment Right...to prevent Americans from exposing criminals in government, or calling for Constitutional justice against such criminals."

"Instagram had suspended my account for a THIRD time for the same reason, child exploitation. Except, I read through the entire guideline, and never violated any rules at all. In fact, I only downloaded instagram to keep myself updated on my high school’s events and rallies. I think it’s ironic and disgusting that they would accuse me of such things. I appealed two times already, so I see no reason for them to suspend me a third time. The only reason why they or their AI could’ve suspended me for was my sexuality. I had my sexuality in my bio because I’m proud, it makes me feel better about myself, and I want people to know more about it. If that really is the reason they keep suspending me, which it most likely is, I believe they or their detection system is homophobic."

On August 19th you suspended my account, I didn't understand the reason and appealed for it. I waited months and months and i check up on it today as i check on it, its apparently disabled due to sexual activities and nudity, which i have not done and many can vouch for me. Not only has this made it impossible for me to ever use instagram again but it has also banned my metaverse vr which i have spent 100+ for just the games. I dont see how far this is considering so many people have accounts that post things that violate your TOS but you still didnt do anything about it. how is it fair i get banned completly for something i didnt do. The worst thing about this is you dont have any way to directly contact you, no phone service, no IT desk support, what do you expect me to do, i appealed and no one got back to me for months before getting banned because of nudity WHICH I DID NOT POST, FIX THIS NOW NOT ONLY DID I SPENT MONEY ON GAMES ON MY VR WHICH IS CONNECTED BUT I LOST MY ACCOUNT AND PRIVELAGE TO USE INSTAGRAM"

"I used my account mainly to keep in touch with my family. I don't ever post comments on anyone's personal page, only public news accounts and such, nor do I post content on my own page. I got hit with the infamous sexual exploitation of children suspension with no details as to what specifically they could have even possibly been referring to. I can't even talk to a human in order to dispute the violation. To be honest, I'd even be satisfied with just using Messenger to communicate with family, but since I got booted from Facebook, I can't use Messenger either."

"My account of 7 years was randomly banned for accusations of child exploitation and nudity - none of which were true. Any account I made after was also banned for the same reasons. I submitted multiple appeals and was never responded to and never got an update on my accounts' status. I went so far as to pay for a verified meta account because one of the perks is being able to speak to a human representative. They explained the most anyone could do was me submit an appeal that was never reviewed."

"On January 19th, 2026 I discovered my Facebook account had been compromised. The interface language was changed to Vietnamese without my authorization, and unauthorized advertising activity occurred, including a $75 charge and additional attempted charges. To prevent further fraudulent activity, I cancelled the affected credit card. I immediately contacted Meta support and completed a full security review with a Meta representative, including password reset and two-factor authentication. During this interaction, I was informed that my account had been secured and that the case was closed.After this support interaction, Meta refunded the unauthorized advertising charge. Approximately one hour after the support session ended and the case was marked closed, my account was compromised again. Shortly thereafter, Meta permanently disabled my account and labeled it as a severe violation (“child exploitation”). This designation is false and directly attributable to malicious activity during the account takeover. After the disablement, Meta informed me that the decision was final and that I would not be permitted to submit another review through their platform.Despite this, I identified three official Meta email addresses used for account and security matters—appeals@fb.com, disabled@fb.com, and security@facebookmail.com—and sent written requests asking Meta to review the account again, investigate the documented breach, and reinstate the account. Meta has never responded to any of these communications.I have been a Facebook account holder since 2008 and rely on Facebook services for personal and business-related use. Despite documented evidence of account compromise and Meta’s prior acknowledgment of unauthorized activity, Meta has failed to conduct a meaningful review or provide any response."

"Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg changed it to Meta since 2021) has no actual contact on Facebook Support and Instagram Support at all. Both Help Center websites has only articles and links of FAQs with no way to contact a support specialist at Facebook and Instagram. Facebook and Instagram do not provide any details on why they disable and ban accounts that have not violated Facebook and Instagram Community Guidelines. If you send an appeal on Facebook and Instagram, your appeal can be denied within minutes after sending it. Facebook and Instagram needs to provide its users a reason why their accounts are disable and ban, not just "Your account has violated Facebook and Instagram Community Guidelines and etc". Facebook and Instagram do not use any human review on accounts, appeals, posts, reported posts, etc, they only use AI, Algorithms, Bots, Machine Learning (ML), and other Systems. It's Time To Hold Facebook and Instagram Accountability On These Actions!"

"On 11 January 2026, my Instagram accounts, spanning over 8+ years of personal memories, creative content, business information and content, were wrongfully permanently disabled by Meta. The account was originally falsely suspended for the same allegations (CSE) three seperate times due to the false flag loop by the Ai Moderation since 24th of December 2025, I have appealed and had my account reinstated (three times) with emails by Instagram/Meta admitting that the suspensions were given incorrectly and they were sorry. Despite the acknowledgements and apologies by Meta, the same issue repeatedly occurred, resulting in my account being falsely permanently disabled on 11th January 2026 after having my appeal denied immediately by an Ai on the fourth false suspension. This permanent action directly contradicts Meta’s prior admissions that the suspensions were erroneous and false flags. It is evident that Meta relies heavily on automated AI moderation, where the same system issues suspensions and review appeals. This has created a repetitive, unjust loop with no meaningful human oversight, accountability, or due process. To have a social platform wilding over billions of users, and have a rogue Ai that’s falsely disabling accounts for the most heinous allegations with nothing to back it up for it is undoubtedly the most disgusting thing I have seen in all my 25 years. And Meta is clearly aware of all of this but acts oblivious about it, we need this petition to be successful and have our accounts restored, it has been overdue."

"I use Facebook for Marketplace and supporting a friend whose child has heart problems. I don't post, I just comment and watch often hilarious content. I enjoy watching stories about animals and seeing footage about historic aircraft, not to mention keeping in contact with high school classmates. That was until today, I attempted to get into my account only to find that I had been banned pending review for "over sexualization of minors". This put me into the emergency room with chest pains and has shut down a thriving Marketplace business that sells household items and antiques. I have been accused of being a pedophile by a machine which doesn't care about what it is doing and the people of Meta need to be held accountable for the harm that their system is inflicting on innocent people. Shut down the damn AI and put people back to work instead of letting them be anonymous. I will be contacting the Attorney General's office in my state, the US Attorney General's office and the FTC tomorrow."

"My Facebook account of ~20 years was disabled without warning with no option to appeal. The only option to 'download your information' had minimal content. Some logs and a tiny version of my profile picture. I noticed that my last IP address was from Iran, which may be been the cause, however when looking up that IP address online, that IP address was actually not from Iran but from Thailand where I'm traveling. Meta clearly has made a mistake here and yet, I need to suffer. My businesses and my communication with clients, friends and family have been cut off. I have paid over $60 of support to Meta as paid support via Meta Verified is the only way to talk to someone. They keep telling me that my case is under review 'by the team', yet it has been in that state for 3 months and I need to continue to pay their subscription fees just to have some hope of my account being reinstated. The fact that I have to pay for their mistake and still not have any resolution or estimated date of resolution is a major violation of customer service, and I will soon be seeking legal action against this. Their Meta Verified Support as well is terrible. The only way to use it is via a mobile app, and there is no way to actually talk to someone. You can only reply when they open a chat to continue with you, otherwise, it gives an error that you cannot respond. When they do write to you, it's usually a random person that says that the case is still under review and then they exit the chat. This is at random times too, so, there is practically no chance to talk to them anyway. Sometimes they will just close or pause your case and you have to open a new one. Their staff training seems to be minimal. You pay for nothing but hope with their Meta Verified support."

"I am 25 I have had my account since I was in high school around 2016. All my childhood friends and family was on my account many of who I will never find there Instagram again as I don't possibly remember all there usernames. I've been suspended and under review for 4 months and I'm reaching my 180 day mark to appeal. But no one has yet reviewed my appeal. I've gone through every possible means of obtaining the unjust ban. Which includes the accusation of me have child abuse and exploitation. Which is not remotely true what's so ever. I've literally spent so many hours and days building my Instagram like an art portfolio. And I was very happy with my progress. I'm beyond frustrated and disappeared. I've even tried legal methods. "I have been a "verified" user of both META platforms for as long as I remember. Both Instagram and Facebook accounts were disabled without any warning. I've been in Facebook jail before, but this was noticeably different than any time before. In the past they would show you the photo or comment they flagged inappropriate and you'd have to sign off on it to admit your mistake. As everyone who's signing this petition knows, we all just got a black screen saying our page has been either suspended or deleted with a footnote saying it was related to child sexual material or whatever and lastly an appeal button at the very bottom of it. Part of why I subscribed to be "verified" is to use their customer service chat window. Well since I was kicked off my pages and not able to get to the chat window, this was NOT an option! Totally helpless and useless. I wasted 48 hours watching youtube videos and talking to tech friends and I was able to locate an email that was related to Facebook. They responded in 2 hours and re-activated BOTH Facebook and Instagram. Only to be taken down again two hours later. At this point I was dead in the water and had zero ideas left, so I made another account to try and contact my art collectors. I keep a registry of everyone's names or IG handle names on my desktop so i can find them when in the system. Then Big Brother detected I was on a new profile page related to my other two flagged/deleted accounts and closed me down trying this roundabout method. I'm out of tricks at this point and am losing on average $1,500 per day by not running my businesses selling rock photography to my loyal customers on both platforms. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A CLASS ACTION SUIT I CAN SHARE MY STORY WITH? Meta needs to be sued over this!"

"I have not had my account for over 4 months now and Instagram told me it would be fixed within a few days, it feels like every other week I look into how to fix it, I sent emails, tried to use their help center but its like they do not want their users to be able to fix the issue. I understand using AI to help with bans but to fully suspend an account without any human having to review anything is absurd, I have had my account for over 5 years and have done nothing wrong, so to be told I had been banned for "Child sexual endangerment" was incredibly shocking. I thought "well this is clearly wrong, but its letting me appeal so it'll be fine" but no I appealed and without any other option have had to wait to the point where I have 2 weeks until my account is gone forever. All I want is the opportunity to get it back but nothing I have done has helped and there is no customer service to reach out to, they have the help center but it doesn't have any information on Appeals, bans, or how to contact Instagram. This has even effected my Meta account and stopped me from being able to use my Oculus a device I have spend hundreds of dollars on. This has caused me to lose so much and I just want my account back."

"Had my instagram account for years, has memories of pictures and now it's all gone. This is the first time that any of this has happened to me. First time, my account got suspended for child nudity or sexual exploitation, and I know for a fact that I didn't do any of that stuff so I submitted an appeal and got my account back. I have always tried to follow Facebook’s Community Standards. If I unknowingly violated this rule, I sincerely apologize for this and will ensure it does not happen again in the future. As a military brat and a disabled Desert Storm veteran, following the rules was not only taught to me but also drilled into my head. It’s these same rules I have continued to follow even 35 years after being discharged from the USAF. It’s also the same rules I’ve taught my son (active duty USN) and my daughter (a recent Sam Houston State University graduate). In the last 40+ years of moving from base to base and making friends at each one, I have kept in touch with many of them. One as for back as 1983. With the death of both parents (and my Aunt & Uncle) in 1990, I also remain in contact with several of their friends as well. At this time, I respectfully request that you undisable my account and one again allow me access to FB to resume contact with the many friends I’ve met throughout my life. Between staying in contact with friends like these and several Veterans groups, both have gotten me through my depression, anxiety and PTSD that I suffered as a result from the afore mentioned tragedy. Lastly, I have photos that I have uploaded to my profile that I don’t have hard copies for and are of sentimental importance."
