My Instagram account (@thuyvy24) was disabled with no proper reasoning with "not following community guidelines" I believe this was due to AI error and it was very hard to get assistance to get proper review to regain access to my account again. I do believe this was a mistake as I've been using this account for over 14 years just positing my travels and such. This has caused me distress and losing contacts with family, friends and clients. I hope through this I will be able to regain my account again as it has been such a loss with many years of memories and contacts. My account was created while I was living in Canada as a Canadian being based in Vietnam for the past years its very hard to find ways to restore my account due to an AI error.

My account was disabled recently for no reason given. I use it for communication with family and friends and keeping up with local and national issues.I never get into spats with anyone and do not violate community standards. Repeated questions from me asking Facebook to explain why I was disabled and to site examples have fallen on deaf ears...which is extremely frustrating! No warnings were given but all of a sudden, I'm gone. Why? After apt. 15 years on FB, I would like to get my page back or at the very least told which community standards I violated.

My Facebook account (Sirawit Koonpoon) was permanently disabled by an automated AI false flag for child exploitation, even though I only posted entirely innocent family photos and safe-for-work (SFW) artwork. The appeal process was an automated dead end with zero human review. Big tech platforms must be held accountable for broken AI moderation and the complete lack of human support.

Every day, more people are waking up to find their Instagram accounts permanently disabled for violations they didn't commit. Mine was removed for an alleged violation of Meta's Adult Sexual Exploitation policy, despite never posting or engaging in content that violated those rules.
What made it even more frustrating was the complete lack of due process. I’ve spent days trapped in automated responses with no real answers. When I finally reached a real person, I was simply told there was nothing they could do. No explanation. No evidence. No meaningful review.
In just one week, I'm getting married. Instead of looking forward to sharing one of the biggest days of my life with my friends and family, I'm facing the reality that I may not be able to post a single photo or memory from my wedding. It may seem small to some people, but these are moments we'll never get back.
I also know I'm one of the lucky ones. My Instagram account is for personal use. For so many others, these wrongful account removals mean losing businesses they've spent years building, income they depend on, professional opportunities, or the only way they stay connected with customers and their communities. The impact can be life changing.
No one is asking Meta to stop enforcing its policies. Harmful content should absolutely be removed. But innocent people should not lose years of memories, connections, businesses, and opportunities because of a mistake made by an automated system with no meaningful way to appeal.
If this has happened to you, or if you believe everyone deserves fairness, transparency, and a genuine human review before losing access to their account, please sign this petition and share it. Every signature helps show Meta that this isn't an isolated problem. It's affecting real people, real businesses, and real lives.
No one should have to fight this hard just to prove they did nothing wrong. Together, we can push for a fair appeals process, real human oversight, and accountability when mistakes happen.

I manage meta ads for a living. My account was flagged incorrectly, I even received notice that it was reversed. In the process, they reinstated a 5 year old restriction on my ability to handle business assets. I have my account back, but the restriction remains permanent. Meta's Pro Support has gone so far as to coach me how to get around IP and device flags to use a new account to do my job. The entire platform is a mess.

My personal Facebook and Instagram accounts were suspended in June 2026, along with several linked business Instagram accounts, following an automated flag with no clear explanation given. I completed every identity verification step Meta requested — including a passport and driver's licence — each rejected only as "we couldn't confirm your identity," with no further detail. I have exhausted every official Meta support channel and have not been able to reach a human reviewer. This has disrupted a small business that has relied on these platforms for years.

I have an account that has many photos and pictures that are saved. It's been a decade. I also made 2-3 accounts just for my page just to prevent my pages from being taken by someone if the main admin is hacked for backup. Meta really disappointed me; it's morning, and suddenly they suspended all my accounts at once. I tried many times to appeal. I said if it's only my main account that will be back, it's ok because there are a lot of memories there; it's not just an account, it's like an old book that is very valuable to me. After a month I received an email that they brought back my account and gave me a code. They apologized, but after I logged in to my account using their code, it was just a second before the app froze, and I received a message that the account had been suspended. I don't know why they said it was already restored. I emailed them again, but they have not responded up to now. My accounts are gone. Every month I make another, and still they keep suspending it twice or thrice. I don't know what to do. I don't know the Facebook I knew before; it's all gone.

I am a law abiding citizen who has never looked at inappropriate child photos. Never shared anything, never posted anything simply would hit the like button on photos and I got banned for CSE. This could affect my reputation, but I will defend myself because I know I did NOTHING wrong. I hope this petition works, but I doubt that Zuckerberg will make changes. I've tried everything to get it back, and now I am dealing with a denial of service as my "enhanced chat" feature is constantly broken and refuses to get me a human reviewer. I have had a successful Facebook page for over 13 years that supports people with serious addiction issues. It doesn't make a profit though we use any earnings for library subscription to keep followers updated on latest research. It has 206k followers. AI bots stopped the content monetisation & page reccomendations, slapping restrictions on as they detected words such as ' drugs' . Multiple conversations with Meta Support have changed nothing. Without warning, my Instagram account @qcmedia___ (3 underscores) was disabled/removed by Meta, despite my belief that I did not violate any platform policies. The account had over 255,500 supporters and represented over 6 years of work, content creation, community engagement, and business development. The loss of the account has significantly impacted my ability to reach my audience and operate our platform. I have already suffered thousands of dollars of potential revenue and these funds are how I pay my bills and provide for my son. My account was restricted/suspended on FB/IG for "fraud", 6 days after I received my business license, LLC registration, tax ID, etc. for my legitimate business. Simply creating the business account under my LLC name was enough to restrict it for "Fraud or deceptive behavior" aka bot-like activities. Everything was done by me, I used zero software tools in making the account.

I submitted an appeal request and it was INSTANTLY denied by AI. 15 years of memories gone for no reason.
I created a new Facebook and PAID for meta verified to get enhanced support and get a live agent which is supposed to be INCLUDED in the subscription. But the AI bot always says all agents are busy and they send me link that take me a to a page that doesn’t work.

I share advocaty material working to raise awareness of child abuse, missing children & any vulnerable people. My videos have been taken down a few times now saying I am sharing sexual exploitation material when it definitely is not that. I try my best to be appropriate, respectful & non exploitive. I am very concerned if anything else is falsely flagged I will lose my account. I have tried to talk to anyone to get a person to review my videos taken down because if a person sees they will no I didn’t violate the community guidelines but trying to get help is like going in circles. I’m reaching out because I’ve been struggling to recover my Instagram account @lafemmedegabrielle after what appears to have been a series of automated moderation errors and account synchronization issues.
I have spent years building my account as a content creator and model, collaborating with brands and using Instagram as a primary source of professional networking and income. My account accumulated nearly 70,000 followers through original fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content, and it represents years of work and business relationships.
My account was repeatedly disabled and reinstated within a short period. Some violations that initially appeared on my account were later reversed by Meta, suggesting they had been issued in error. Since then, I’ve completed identity verification, subscribed to Meta Verified, contacted Meta Pro Team support multiple times, and followed every instruction provided. Support representatives have acknowledged that my account appears to be experiencing backend synchronization issues, but despite weeks of waiting, the account has still not been fully restored.
Throughout this process, I’ve remained patient, cooperative, and willing to comply with every request. My goal is simply to regain access to the account I built and continue my work. The loss of my account has significantly affected my business opportunities, partnerships, income, and ability to communicate with my audience.
I’m respectfully asking for any assistance, guidance, or advocacy your organization may be able to provide. I believe my situation highlights the challenges many creators face when automated enforcement systems make mistakes and meaningful human review is difficult to obtain.

Whatever AI is currently being used to police comments online, is not working as intended. It returns reports within 5 minutes without taking any action, and is constantly allowing racist and homophobic abuse to flood their platform unpunished.

I wanted to share my situation that happened with Meta disabling my Instagram account.
On June 26, 2026, I received a notification from Instagram that my account, noexcusessteve, was suspended because my account doesn’t follow Community Standards “on the sexualization of minors.” I submitted an appeal on June 26, 2026. On June 28th, I received notification that my account has been permanently disabled. Please note that my noexcusessteve account was Meta Verified (which costs about $14.99) a month but because my account was suspended, there was no way for me to discuss this with a human being.
These decisions were made by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and not by a human. My account does not have anything to do with sexualization of minors. I am a 37-year-old man who was born with cerebral palsy. I use Instagram to motivate others who are disabled, or not, to encourage people to accomplish their goals at their own pace. The videos I post are motivational videos, some of which are of me working out in the gym. Other videos are talking about awareness about disabilities in general. I do motivational speaking and have done a Tedx Talk and legitimately spread goodwill to the disabled community. I have followers from all over the world who have watched my videos and commented that they have accomplished goals because of my videos.
These are serious allegations about my account and reflect back to me. My Instagram account is not only important for my business but also for the advocacy work that I do in the community.
