I got my account hacked and disabled 6 years ago, tried contacting customer service to no avail, tried creating a new account years later but couldn't due to forced verification and IP bans. I lost countless friends and memories I had from the platform.

Facebook permanently disabled my account one night around March this year, after I did what they demanded I did: I accepted the scanning of my face and followed their instructions. They immediately disabled after this episode and sent an email saying I had appealed to their decision and I had failed, but it was never available. I worked many hours on it and did the utmost I cased me huge stress as I have family and friends and connections (and gruops) all over the world and in a few languagues (mainly English, Spanish and Portugueese). My acount is about 15 yerrs old if not more. theemail used here is not the one I used for my facebook account. when necessary I can provide it.

On Friday, May 22nd (Memorial Day weekend), my Instagram account was flagged and suspended by Meta’s faulty AI for a * violation. A violation which I did not commit in any way, shape, or form! I promptly appealed the decision and was asked to submit a selfie for ID verification, but I was not given the option to submit any statements or evidence on my behalf, nor was I given any specifics about what content led to the suspension. Within 48 hours, I was informed that my appeal had been reviewed by a human (over Memorial Day weekend!) and that my account had been permanently disabled. This was a mature account that I have had since approximately 2011, and on which I have been an active daily user since approximately 2015. This account was also Meta Verified. Up until the fall of 2025, I had no issues or history of complaints. In October of 2025, I posted imaging from a CT scan I had of my head with a caption related to Halloween and zombies. Throughout Q4 2025, my IG was harassed and suspended numerous times by Meta’s AI for “drug activity.” For whatever reason, from this point forward, my account was suddenly and routinely harassed by Meta’s AI. On April 19th 2026, almost exactly a month before my recent 2nd ban, my account was suspended for the first time for a * violation. I promptly submitted an appeal, and within 30 minutes, the AI cleared me of any wrongdoing, and my account was reinstated. I believe this initial ban was due to a story I posted in my friend's apartment that had a famous shirtless painting in the background. Since last summer, millions have been affected due to an ongoing ban wave resulting from Meta’s overzealous and faulty AI. BBC, Fox News, & CNBC, among others, have reported extensively on this. This ban has not only resulted in the loss of countless memories, connections, and access to such a central “public square,” but it has also led directly to the loss of business opportunities and, given the nature of the allegations, has led to a severe decline in my mental health and impacted my daily performance at work. I have been unable to resolve this issue using the Meta Verified service that I specifically pay for to use in situations like this. I have also been unable to download the data associated with my banned account, which is a direct violation of my digital privacy rights. I would like my account to be reinstated immediately. I would like Meta to take the necessary steps to protect its users and customers from frivolous allegations and baseless bans, implement a more streamlined appeals process, reassess its current AI, and, in the future, refrain from unleashing untested, faulty AI into its systems. In the meantime, I am pursuing options with legal counsel, the NYS AG, and the BBB, reaching out to journalists in the technology space, and I will continue to submit support requests via Meta Verified. I was banned from Facebook after having my account since 2009. The accusation.......child sexual exploitation. No screenshot or proof of any kind was shown to me about this sickening accusation. All that I got was a 'we say its true' response. My account had everything (wedding photos, baby photos of my 6 kids, photos of all my kids from first born (2010) to last born (twins 2018), family videos, leaning to ride their bike videos, birthday videos and photos, work contacts, work photos, basically my whole life was right there.......on that account. I would rather cut out my own eyes than exploit or hurt a child in any way. It sickens me to be accused of something so disgusting. I am a model , creator & I use my page for my dog rescue efforts . I’ve utilized my page to save over 30 dogs now. My page was removed for impersonation even though I pay for meta verified, I had almost 1 million followers . I signed up for meta verified thru advertisements that claimed I could get live support access . I’ve never been able to reach support . Just AI automated messages . They also removed several of my other pages just before one w almost 100k and others of 10k, 5k .

I have never posted, searched for, liked, saved, shared, commented on, or interacted with any content of that nature. My accounts were primarily used to watch Reels, browse content, and use Facebook Marketplace. Despite multiple appeals and support requests, I have not received any specific evidence explaining what allegedly caused this violation. I am requesting a transparent human review of my case, as I firmly believe this is a false positive.

Stop this authoritative account suspension using stupid ai tools. Ai hasn't gotten good enough to replace humans yet and this change on IG has caused a lot of damage as I lost my 12k account for no reason at all. And I couldn't even recover my account. 12/6/2025- Account was abruptly locked and put on 180 day suspension for “violating community standards”/“cybersecurity”. I used the “appeal” button on the screen that they presented.. appeal what, exactly? I went over my last few posts , one was a list of song titles with artists and record labels on one of my pages summarizing a weekly volunteer broadcast thing I do, the other was a post prefaced “another day in paradise” in a *private* neighborhood group that included a mugshot of someone who had been breaking into cars for weeks, I also found that the person had prior state level incarceration and I provided a link to that official state site. (Much worse gets posted in that group when it comes to neighborhood crime ). The appeal process.. I told them what I’ve summarized here as well as providing them the selfie (still shot) that they requested to show I was the 70+ yr old person I claimed to be. Crickets. About 2 weeks later they sent email reminding me to use the appeal process using the link provided.. it went to the same lock out page stating that I had already appealed. Lots of crickets. No more communication. My FB account was opened in 2009. In its time, a few reprimands due to political cartoons and links to valid news sites like Brookings Institute, nothing outrageous compared to what friends do on the FB site. As of 6/6/26 my account has been deleted. It amazes me.. and scares me that this AI baloney is what will be governing most aspects of our future.. to have had the opportunity to speak or text with a human to find out exactly what I did and perhaps some update on the appeals process would have been much appreciated.

I support this campaign because it is against the dynamics of Facebook's community guidelines that have never worked properly and always act with injustice and this is very common in Brazil. What disappoints me the most is the lack of clarity and the lack of interpretation of Analytics with the false positives. And of course, the hypocrisy. They say they are against anything that violates Facebook's community guidelines, but what we see is the opposite. Currently, many Brazilians are affected by this mass ban of accounts due to the excuse of "failures" . I have even been affected by a lack of clarity in the interpretation of some posts or comments between 2020 and 2026. And many entertainment or sex education profiles (professional sexologists) have already been greatly harmed by Facebook through irresponsible denunciations. Since on Facebook itself there is a lot of inappropriate content that still persists there, even if you report it. But they NEVER do anything right. That's why, I am adamantly against Facebook's community guidelines as they are NOT FAIR to users and content creators on Facebook or Instagram or any other social network.

Instagram has suspended most of my business for no reason even most of them were verified by blue tick subscription, they just simply disabled all of the those account without taking any accountability, this resulted in the loss of my business transactions, reputation, and overall dissatisfaction among my clients and my business image, all happened because of meta's ai moderation crap suspending professional business accounts instead of real bot accounts.

I was false accused by Meta of child exploitation and as a result was demonetized and am having to get a lawyer to remove the false flag off my account. I had to write a letter to Meta and give them a 45 day notice to fix the issue and file an official complaint with the BBB. Research revealed that journalistic reports showed a very high false flag rate and is a common problem that has been acknowledged by meta but has yet to be fixed. This is a serious accusation and is ruining people's lives and reputations.

I have been a content creator and an artist for the past 7 years of my life, my account has been the sole reason why i have the sense of community and communication to a lot of awesome people that i get to know and have been my way to spread positivity, memes, those funny things. And it only took them 7 second to give a false review and permanently disabled my account. What a joke, what an absolute joke, did they actually review my account? no, did they ask an ai to scan for false reports instead of looking for what's true or not? yes, did they actually pour down an effort to stop false scams? no, and we all know it, and this must stop. Meta, if you read this, if you even care to put someone to read this and not some AI that pleases your annual reports profit and not the real issues, then genuinely, you have to go. Regardless, this is such a crazy way of social media detox, but such an unfortunate one for people who actually wanna create. For everyone else reading this, i just hope we win. That's it.
